As a partner to American Bridge Company and American Consulting Professionals, KCA was selected for the SR 679 (Pinellas Bayway) Structure E over the Intracoastal Waterway D/B project. This project included the design and construction of a new two-lane, high-level fixed-span Structure E bridge on a new alignment over the Intracoastal Waterway. Additional improvements included milling and resurfacing of SR 679, replacement of the existing Tierra Verde seawall with a new seawall along SR 679 from Yacht Club Lane to Madonna Boulevard, and construction of sidewalks and a shared-use path. KCA was responsible for bridge substructure design.
