Williams Road Southern Swale Analysis

As part of the Willliams Road Improvements, KCA is assisting with drainage and stormwater analysis and maintenance of the southern swale along Williams Road from Kings Road to the Life Care Center of Estero. The project includes maintenance of the southern swale along Williams Road from Kings Road to the Life Care Center of Estero in Lee County, Florida. The
existing stormwater conveyance includes open swale and culverts to convey water under Kings Road. The existing culvert and swales were analyzed for capacity and to identify any locations impeding conveyance in relation to the culvert under Kings Road. The swales are to be regraded to provide positive drainage and to replace the permitted water quality volumes. Additional drainage improvements will be made that will help reduce maintenance needs and improve roadside safety for vehicles and pedestrians.
