Traffic Signal & Roadway Improvement Design

KCA was selected to perform engineering services for the new traffic signalization and roadway improvements project at the intersection of Del Prado Boulevard and Averill Boulevard in Cape Coral, and will remain on standby if the requested need for more design and/or construction needs arise from the City. This project aims to improve both safety and pedestrian circulation within the vicinity of the Del Prado Boulevard and Averill Boulevard intersection, minimize impacts to utility lines, and include a dual-arm, traffic mast arm to reduce construction duration and cost. KCA will perform traffic engineering design, traffic modeling, signalization, signing and pavement markings, roadway design, drainage design, structures/mast arm design, CEI, post-design services, and utility coordination. The Project was then expanded to include four, new additional signalization designs including ITS intersection upgrades.
