Rangeland Boulevard Route Study and Pond Siting Analysis and Report
The project’s objective is to complete a route study and pond siting analysis to evaluate an extension and improvements to Rangeland Boulevard in Pasco County. The KCA team will ensure the route study addresses pertinent local, state, and federal laws and regulations and identifies the least impactful and cost-affordable alternative. The study will include developing a purpose and need; a public involvement program; traffic analysis; alternatives; evaluation and reports for sociocultural, natural, cultural, and physical resources; and engineering evaluations and reports. This project will improve roadway connectivity, alleviate congestion along SR 54, and reduce travel delays in the area. The extension and improvements to the corridor will allow a new east-west connection across the Suncoast Parkway and together with the adjacent Tower Road project will provide an alternative route to SR 54, connecting western Pasco County to US 41.
