Clear Communication, Informed Communities, Better Outcomes

KCA delivers comprehensive public involvement services designed to inform, engage, and build trust with the communities our projects serve. Our team develops tailored outreach strategies that support project goals and create meaningful opportunities for public input. From project websites and fact sheets to virtual workshops and interactive tools, we equip stakeholders with the information they need—when and how they need it.

We integrate advanced visualization techniques, including 3D renderings, flyover animations, and virtual reality simulations, to help the public clearly understand design concepts and alternatives. These tools strengthen conversations, reveal stakeholder priorities, and support informed decision-making.

Tools, Techniques, Experience

KCA facilitates seamless coordination with agencies, elected officials, and community members through public workshops, BOCC presentations, stakeholder meetings, and hybrid/virtual formats. Our team prepares all supporting materials, including agendas, presentations, scripts, summaries, sign-in sheets, and social media content, and documents all public comments for the project record.

We have successfully adapted to evolving communication needs—particularly through COVID-19—by incorporating hybrid and fully virtual meeting platforms to maintain participation and accessibility. KCA has led public engagement efforts for numerous transportation projects, including:
