US 41 at CSX Grade Separation S. of Causeway Boulevard
As a major subconsultant responsible for roadway and structures design, KCA was selected by FDOT District Seven for the US 41 at CSX Grade Separation project. The project improves level of service (LOS) along US 41 by providing grade separation at the CSX railroad crossing and the intersection of Causeway Boulevard.
US 41/SR 45 and SR 676/Causeway Boulevard are critical arterial corridors serving the City of Tampa and greater Hillsborough County. The project is being delivered using FDOT’s Statewide Acceleration Transformation (SWAT) process, which allows key design activities, including survey, geotechnical investigations, concept development, wetland determinations, pond siting, and noise analysis, to advance concurrently with Project Development and Environment (PD&E) efforts.
KCA is providing roadway design, signalization, maintenance of traffic (MOT), signing and pavement marking (S&PM), structures design, and drainage design services for the project.
