SR 595 (Alt US 19) Resurfacing from Whisper Lake Road to Meres Boulevard
This resurfacing, restoration, and rehabilitation (RRR) project consists of milling and resurfacing a 5.395-mile-long, 2-lane (with median turn lane), urban section of SR 595. The project will also widen and resurface a 0.225-mile-long urban section of SR 595 to include new median turn lanes. The project also includes cross slope corrections, new drainage installation, curb and gutter installation, concrete sidewalk and curb ramp construction, Utility Work by Highway Contractor Agreement (UWHCA) with the City of Tarpon Springs, roadway and shoulder widening, asphalt driveway reconstruction, traffic separators, aluminum pipe guiderail, guardrail reset and end treatments, gravity wall, signalization upgrades (pedestrian and vehicular), thermoplastic (standard and preformed), signing, and performance turf.
