Hurricane Ian caused tremendous damage to Southwest Florida, especially to Lee County, and KCA provided emergency response services through the 2018 Structural Engineering Services contract. Post-Hurricane Ian, KCA was able to develop, detail, and submit repair plans for five bridges in Lee County in a matter of days, including repair plans for the Big Carlos, Big Hickory, Little Carlos, New Pass, and Cape Coral bridges. Our team also assisted the County in the analysis and repair process of their Spring Training facilities, providing assistance toward analysis of the damaged facilities, which are of utmost importance to the economy of the County.
