KCA is tasked with widening Kings Highway along CR 769 from the Charlotte County Line to SW Glenadine Avenue to improve safety within the corridor. CR 769 (Kings Highway) is an important road linking central DeSoto County to northern Port Charlotte and I-75. The improvements will widen the existing two-lane road to a four-lane divided roadway. Enhancements will alleviate traffic congestion and improve connectivity. Along with roadway design, KCA will be providing hydraulics, structures, traffic, and environmental services.
