Kisinger Campo & Associates, Corp. (KCA) has openings for full-time Entry-Level Structural Engineers in our Tampa office. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required
- Master’s degree in civil engineering with a structural focus is preferred
- 0-3 years of engineering related experience
- EI Certification preferred
- Experience in using structural analysis and design software – MicroStation/Geopak plans, and Roadway Corridor Modeling production experience is a plus.
- Ability to write, speak, and communicate clearly.
Responsibilities
- Apply structural design principles and geometric concepts to support project development.
- Collaborate with Professional Engineers and entry‑level engineers on transportation‑related structural projects.
- Develop structural calculations for various components of transportation structures.
- Assist with bridge inspections, reporting, and preparation of technical documentation.
- Support the creation of plans, cost estimates, and final bid packages.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and check calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assemble construction plan sets and assist in preparing project submittals.
- Participate in field reviews and site visits as needed.
- Work proactively within a team environment and contribute to project coordination and execution.
