KCA was selected for various NCDOT BUILD Grant Bridge Replacement projects. Our work tasks have included all aspects including NEPA, roadway, hydraulics, erosion control, permitting, bridge hydraulic study, structures, temporary traffic control, and signing and pavement marking (S&PM) plans. Designs have included special details for bringing high-speed internet to some of the areas in the project vicinity. These projects also included development of right-of-way (R/W) plans and utility coordination. KCA coordinated with multiple resource agencies for permits including the NC Department of Water Resources (NCDWR), NC Division of Coastal Management (NCDCM), U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers (USACE), and U.S. Coast Guard (USCG).
