Kisinger Campo & Associates, Corp, is seeking a certified commercial diver to join our bridge inspection team as an underwater and topside inspection Team Leader. This position will require serving as a top-side inspection team leader assisting an inspection of bridges and ancillary structures as well as a dive team leader for the underwater inspection of bridges. All qualified Team Leader candidates considered, with experience in Florida being a plus.

This is a full-time position that requires a 40-hour work schedule (60% field work, 40% office work) with some overtime.

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

This position requires considerable physical activity such as:

  • Climbing ladders or steps
  • Lifting arms above shoulder level (i.e. lifting items into a truck or overhead area).
  • Lifting or moving objects up to 50 lbs
  • Working at heights of up to 50’ or more.
  • Working in confined or enclosed spaces
  • Standing or sitting for long periods of time.
  • Some travel up to a week at a time may be required.
  • May work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.
  • Required to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, safety-toed boots, and other applicable PPE.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Active Florida CBI or the qualifications to receive one.
  • Commercial Diver Certification (ADCI)
  • Certification as an NBIS qualified inspection team leader
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, mentor, and motivate teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Current First Aid, CPR, AED, Oxygen Administration Certifications
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass a background check and MVR check.
  • Ability to pass “Fit to Dive” Physical exams
  • Commitment to contributing to a culture of safety, for yourself and others
